My Background 

Education:

I love school and the process of learning new things.  I hold a Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology from the University of Memphis and BS in Psychology from Arizona State University.  I went back to school after my kids were grown to complete my MFA in Photography from Maine Media College.

​Certifications:

I am a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach.  I was trained through Georgetown University's Health and Wellness Certification Program. This is an 8 month rigorous program, fully immersed in mindfulness practices, self-reflection studies,  individual and group coaching practice all under a supervised practicum.

 

 â€‹Specialization

With my background in the arts and my calling to support human development and growth, I am uniquely qualified to merge these two practices to leverage change.  I work with creatives and artists to support their practice and to better understand their process.  I call this process coaching, and it can be applied holistically to bring more balance and wellbeing into other areas of your life.  

What is Coaching?

Coaching is a personalized approach that helps a purpose-driven individual pursue their vision for their life.

 

Working collaboratively with a trained coach will expand and excelerate your potential for change and move you toward your vision of your best self.  

 

What is Therapy?

​​Therapy is healing something from the past or managing a current disorder that is impeding functioning in your current life.  

 

You can do both simultaneously, but there is a difference!
